The brief > RICS wanted to promote to College and University students, the courses available around the country that could lead to a career in surveying. At the same time, the prospectus would show the breadth of opportunities available in the profession.

The solution > It was decided to take actual surveyors as advocates of the profession and have them present engaging case studies for their careers. Commissioned photography was taken in various locations and then presented in fresh layouts that would appeal to a sophisticated undergraduate audience. The beginnings of new career prospects were also hinted at through a ‘starting grid’ device.
